The Skoltech Space Center launches a student track of the STI Olympiad along the Aerospace Systems profile! Winners of the track will be able to enter the magistracy of “Space engineering systems”.
Registration for the student track of the NTI Olympiad starts on December 3rd. University students will be able to compete in 6 specialized areas. There is no age limit, the track is available to students of all courses! The difference is only in the reward system – winners, students in IV and V courses, with the successful completion of individual tests, will be able to study for free in the Skoltech magistracy.
The main organizer of the Olympiad NTI, Aleksey Fedoseyev, said: “Many of the participants of the Olympiad have become students. A request for a student track came from them. The track will preserve the best traditions of the NTI Olympiad. The finalists will have to work in teams on real tasks and gain practical experience needed in future work. It is important that this project is a pilot one and in the first year it does not face the task of achieving high indicators in terms of the number of participants, but the task is to achieve serious quality indicators.
The first stage of the student track will be held in the correspondence format on the Stepik.org online platform, which will allow any student with access to the Internet to become a participant in the track. After the end of the correspondence stage, students are expected to face-to-face finals at university sites, where they will have to solve practical problems.
