Skoltech Space center Earth observation activities: TAT and SCERIN-7

Space center projects coordinator Antonina Gromyko took part in Trans-Atlantic training on remote sensing organized jointly by ESA and NASA as well as the SCERIN-7 meeting in Novi Sad, Serbia in June 22-26. SCERIN is a regional network of remote sensing specialists in Eastern and Central Europe which is a part of the Global Observation of Forest and Land Cover Dynamics (GOFC-GOLD) program, mainly supported by NASA and ESA.

Skoltech Space center presented its progress and scope of activities in the field of remote sensing and forest monitoring. Participation in this event and joining the international network of remote sensing specialists is in line with the recent development of the remote sensing research at Skoltech Space center which focuses on development of situational EO centers and various services, mostly for the forestry monitoring.
