Skoltech Space Center on SPIE Remote Sensing 2019

The event that offers engineers, scientists, program managers, and policymakers access to the latest developments in earth observation, next-generation satellites, atmospheric propagation, and imaging analytics.
This year it was held in Strasbourg, France (9-14 September). Skoltech Space Center was presented there by Vasilii Mosin (Engineer) and Roberto Aguilar (MSc 2).
The submitted paper “Remote Sensing and Machine Learning for Tree Detection and Classification in Forestry Applications” was presented during the session in “Image and Signal Processing for Remote Sensing” conference and attracted a lot of attention from the audience, since it was the only presentation marked with AI (Artificial Intelligence) sign in that session.#skoltech
